The Pacbrake C40115 4″ PRXB High Performance Exhaust Brake saves the service brake pads wear and tear by providing heavy supplemental braking power. At 1200RPM the exhaust brake produces as much braking power as at 2400 RPM for the stock. The exhaust brake kit provides better braking horsepower, a greater reduction in speed, and lowers the stopping distance for the vehicle. The exhaust brake uses constant pressure once it hits 1200 RPM and completely utilizes exhaust backpressure. When tested, a 25,000 pound travelling at a 5% grade, slowed starting at 50MPH to 20MPH far sooner than the stock, about 1500 feet sooner.
